As we are watching this political race wind down to the finish with only 6 more months of political crap on TV; we are reminded by the DC ruling of the Supreme Court last week. The ruling over turned the Gun Ban in the District of Columbia and guaranteed the rights of the citizens to protect themselves.

This is going to give the NRA a chance to file against other cities that have also stepped across the state laws and created their own interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. This will be a long and drawn out event and the NRA will have their work cut out for them.

The bottom line is that the vote was 5 to 4 with our complete freedom haning in the balance of one person. The founding fathers were great men with vision and fortitude that is not matched in our society today. Your vote matters this year as the next President will be picking some of the Supreme Court Justices in the next 4 years.

Don't think of it as voting for a President, but rather voting for your freedom and your right to bear arms.
